Environment

In this section we will describe areas of environmental significance and interest. These will include National Parks, Nature Reserves and State Forests. New South Wales has a world class system of National Parks And Nature Reserves. The Northern Tablelands of New South Wales is blessed with many of these reservoirs of nature. When we are not propagating (plants that is) and planting, visiting these areas is one of our major retirement activities.  We also visit other states and sample the beauties of their Reserve systems.  In days gone by we were Park Rangers and were stationed in the Warrumbungle National Park and New England National Park.
PS  Yallaroo is situated 20 km west of Armidale on the Northern Tablelands of NSW.
