At Yallaroo we live very close to nature. The gardens surrounding the house are frequented by many native bird species, four different macropods (kangaroos and wallabies) feed on the lawns and choirs of  frogs serenade us from the ornamental ponds. In spring and summer lizards are common in the gardens and the occasional snake pays a visit. Insects and spiders also inhabit the Yallaroo gardens and sometimes the house. In this section of our Site we will record our observations and describe our adventures with the wildlife that share our lives.
PS  Yallaroo is situated 20 km west of Armidale on the Northern Tablelands of NSW.
